Guiding Your Journey Through Life's Storms

A Light in the Chaos-216.jpg

I’m Val Blair, the founder of A Light in the Chaos, a space devoted to helping people navigate grief, change, and the quiet work of healing. My journey began after losing my partner Derek, when signs and synchronicities became the breadcrumbs that helped me keep moving.

Over the years, I’ve created courses, memberships, and reflections that weave together writing, meditation, and creative practice — always with the intention of making healing feel less lonely and more human. My work has been featured in places like Elephant Journal and Thrive Global, and at the heart of it all is a simple belief: even in our hardest seasons, we are never as lost as we feel.

Crescendo is close to my heart because it honors soul connections — the threads of love and meaning that continue to guide us forward. It’s an invitation to pause, reflect, and remember that healing isn’t something we have to do alone.
