Lauren earned a Master of Science from Tri-State College of Acupuncture where she received extensive training in 3 styles of acupuncture including Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Acupuncture Physical Medicine (APM), and Kiiko Matsumoto Style (KM). She focused her study
on myofascial and trigger point release therapy and Japanese-based technique as well as adjunct
therapies including moxibustion, cupping, guasha, AMMA massage, auriculotherapy and
Zero Balancing©.
Lauren utilizes a combination of these techniques to tailor treatments that specifically address
the individual and the unique and changing needs of each patient. She is also certified in Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture which is an effective natural and non-surgical technique to maintain facial health and radiance and reduce the signs of aging. Prior to her current practice of acupuncture, Lauren worked in the television advertising sales industry in New York as well as
stage management for theatrical productions.
